Traditional Italian restaurant with very good food. The eggplant parmigiana is perhaps the best in chicago. This is a favorite restaurant for lunch by some city employees who can go anywhere. In the summer there are some sidewalk tables which are dog friendly. For hearty Italian fare, hard to beat.

We were visiting our adult children in Chicago who chose Club Lucky to meet for dinner. They raved about the food, atmosphere and service, and it did not disappoint. We had reservations for 6:45 and were sat immediately. The server was attentive without being intrusive. So important. We ordered the meatball/salad and sausage/peppers appetizers for the table and they were... More

We loved this bar! Best drinks ever! Their mixologists are experts! Totally great neighborhood bar!!! We would visit it again and try the amazing food we saw pass us. We had a lovely meat and cheese platter while enjoying a great lemon drop!!

A neighborhood Bar and Restaurant that will not disappoint. Very friendly staff. Great drinks and lots of places to sit inside and out. Had bruschetta as an appetizer and it was very good. Food was also very good, very good pasta dishes. Sat outside, great area, perfect neighborhood place.

The iron corner pole, the glass blocks around the windows, the linoleum floors all described a neighborhood corner bar, (once) ubiquitous in ethnic neighborhoods. I was in the area in the 80's-- still a little dicey and edgey area. It's now a showcase for Architectural Digest homes, with good and bad consequences. We were there to celebrate a colleague's birthday,... More

Great supper club with a cool retro vibe. Start with a cocktail at the bar first- they shake an awesome martini. We ordered a few dishes to taste and everything was great. We had a lot of left overs but that was ok because it all tasted better the next night if that could be possible. We have been here... More

We visited here as part of 4 bars via the Prohibition tour. It was defiantly our favourite as it had the best selection of cocktails, each one very more-ish. The day we arrived there seemed to be a 1920's themed party in full swing so it really felt delightfully apt. It was a little cramped at the bar itself but... More

Not sure why this place gets the great raves. In a town that has a lot of great restaurants this warrants a good at best. Hyped drinks no better than a million places elsewhere. Food is typical Italian fare with average quality. Atmosphere is more unique but the restaurant can be noisy. Chicken Vesuvio was passable but not great (like... More

We had a group of 20 people last night 5/21/16 and every single person loved their meal! That's not easy in any restaurant! The lamb chose were to die for!

Description
Club Lucky features the hearty pastas, fresh seafood and classic dishes of Southern Italy, and Sicily; not forgetting to mention Chicago classics such as Chicken Vesuvio. Our house specialties range from daily handmade stuffed pastas to perfectly grilled steaks & chops. A mainstay in the Bucktown/Wicker Park area for over 20 years, upon entering you find brick walls, formica tables, and oversized Naugahyde booths that provide a genuine design element to complement “grandmother's recipes” on the Italian menu. All sauces & pastas are made on-site, and each recipe is made with what the Owners call “a little bit of love.” Some of the most sought-after dishes are the Lamb Chops, Antipasti Platters and Spinach Lasagna. Desserts are all housemade as well, with the profiteroles being the most popular. Our atmosphere is casual, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Club Lucky is perfect for a romantic date night or a large gathering of friends and family. Good Food and Fun!
