My favorite destination for a breakfast omelette that is a meal onto itself. The bakery makes an upper cut multi-grain bread loaf that is worth taking home.

The staff were great. We had tea, coffee and sandwiches. Everything was fresh and tasty and they do specialty breads in the bakery attached. The is plenty of food, so much they we never had a cake we promised ourselves on the way in. Would definitely recommend

Great food and reasonable prices. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'm sorry about not asking for a seat by the window after seeing the amazing view!! Good location with shopping below and along the mag mile.

We enjoy breakfast at Oak Tree every time we come for a visit to the city. The food quality is exceptional and their on-premise Bakery provides fresh breads and other delightful treats. It is on the 6th floor of the Bloomingdale's building overlooking N Michigan Ave.

Ordered the turkey burger which was dry, server did not offer condiments until requested. Highlight of lunch was the corner table looking out onto Michigan avenue across from Hancock building.

I just stopped for breakfast one morning and ordered my typical oatmeal. Very large serving with plenty of crunchy and fruity additions available. Much more than I could eat. Also got a scone that was very flaky and crunchy, and too rich for my taste. More like a dense croissant in some ways or a massive pie crust. I imagine... More

Followed Trip Advisor to the Oak Tree restaurant. Wife had omlet, I had hash and eggs. Food was well prepared and service was great. Views of Michigan Avenue are nice, too. Menu included vegan and healthful choices for those so inclined. A very nice place for a break from shopping.

I just had scrambled eggs and a muffin, but it was really well done. My companion had Eggs Benedict and loved it. Coffee wasn't exceptional, but everything else was.

We love to enjoy Sunday breakfast at Oak Tree when visiting Chicago. The menu is varied, offering everything from delicious sweets to omelets and sandwiches. Have never been disappointed here. This visit I ordered Huevos Rancheros and it was perfect! The portions are always very generous and service is excellent.

What a fabulous breakfast---and lunch. This restaurant has been in the same place for many years with a totally devoted clientele. The best bakery in town for eat-in or take out. The staff is unique. There are employees with unbelievable longevity and loyalty--some more than 25 years. They operate like a family and make you feel at home. All fresh... More
