After reviews here and other places, I was concerned that I might not like the place. In short, it worked out really well for take out. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls and tofu pad Thai with no egg. Flavorful and made the way I requested. I would not hesitate to go back if in the area.

Located in 900 North Michigan Avenue Shops, on the 6th floor, this restaurant offers great Michigan Avenue and lake front views in a quiet atmosphere. Food and service was very good with reasonable prices!

This Thai restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the Bloomingdale's complex on the Magnificent Mile. Totally non-existent service. All the staff looked bored out of their minds. The Tom Ga Kai soup was oversweet. Flat noodles with vegetables and chicken had been kept warm for a long time. Glue-like noodles and totally over-cooked vegetables. Some fragments of dry... More

The main reason that I rated this restaurant excellent is due to its top floor lakefront unobstructed view at the corner tables. The food is very good, and the service is fine. Also the prices are reasonable for the location at a fancy mall. I signed up for their coupons so it is even more of a value. They also... More

The food here is good. Tried their pad thai which was good, but I've had better. Their curry fried rice is amongst the best I've tasted. Didn't get a chance to try the red curry which looked great. The service was lacking. The gentleman at the door showed us to our table, left our menus there and walked away before... More

The menu has offerings from the various Asian cuisines. The lunch buffet is also not just Thai food. While there are many options, the food quality is not consistent. My first time there, I thought the food was great. My second time, though, made me feel nauseated (the food was cold and soggy). The service has been pretty consistent--overall above... More

We expected Thai food, but this restaurant had Chinese and Japanese food, too. We opted for Chinese, and it was pretty good. The quality of the ingredients was great. Our choices seemed a little bland, but I'm sure other dishes may have been spicer. The service was great. It is the perfect choice if you want a variety of Asian... More

Baisi Thai is located in a high-end mall on North Michigan Avenue. Every entree is cooked to order and almost big enough to serve two. The service is always friendly. I like the Basil Chicken made with spicy red peppers and fresh basil leaves. I've never had drinks here, but the tiny bar area always seems to be crowded after... More

I stopped in for a quick nosh while on a long walking/shopping trip. I was expecting traditional Thai cuisine, but the menu span the Asian globe, including sushi. I am skeptical of restaurants that can't just stick to one cuisine. I ordered a curry fried rice, which was very large, enough for 2 meals, which made it a bargain. Service... More
