We went 2 days in a row. Loved the lunch specials, especially the price. Ordered beef and cheese empanadas for appetizers. I liked the cheese better. Tried shrimp, sancocho, pork chops, and entrana lunch specials. They were all delicious, and good size servings. The plantain in the aborrajado wasn't completely ripe and it had very little guava in the middle.... More

Got the skirt steak combo and awesome food. Lots of food and couldn't finish it all. Service was great. Dining was a bit loud so not a place for a quiet dinner

I am a real Colombian and I totally approved this place. I was presently surprise how good it was . The place is cute and have different rooms where you can accommodate a lot of people and the decoration on your way to the restrooms is amazing !!!!

This is a great restaurant if you want a nice latino colombian. You might want to have time to spare because it takes a while for the food. All in all it is a good restaurant with a nice atmosphere.

Beautiful Latin American experience in Chicago. Great staff. Great decor -- colors and architecture. I love it.

The location is great with a gorgeous looking church around the corner and different restaurant but parking can be a challenge. We went in for brunch, April 3, very early so we've park in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is small and with packed tables and chairs, I can't imagine a space for them to dance without bumping to... More

Las Tablas has been around for a number of years, and this is an indication of its popularity in the neighborhood. Good, dependable food with good service at affordable prices. Portions are large. The emphasis is on dishes from South America, especially Colombia. The decor is pleasant and comfortable especially for family and friends get-togethers.

Not good. The lunch we orderd was not a really Colombian Ajiaco. Just a poor soup with two pieces of corn not even with chiken

SPECIAL EVENT I came here not for dinner but for a special event. So my review is more reflective if you wanted to rent out the place. For the event, the restaurant cleared out the tables and chairs and opened up the main seating area. It's a decent sized restaurant. The bar area / waiting area is a moderate size.... More

Had a great dining experience. Since we were new to Columbian food we queried our waiter for recommendations and he quizzed us about our presences. We settled on the Picada Columbiana or a combination plate for two. First off this platter of food would be best suited for three or four diners - so be ready to be full or... More
