Stopped in to have dinner for two. They sat us quick for a Saturday night. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious and a perfect amount. They had live music which was entertaining and did not interfere with us talking or eating. Nice small dinning area and you will need to walk passed the bar to get seated.

What a nice little place, Bar area in front of Bldg., and restaurant behind it with a nice patio area in front. Girls nite out right before Christmas on Friday nite. Only drawback is parking, it sits right on Irving Park Rd. so not a lot of spots to park. We were lucky that nite! I found it to be... More

We were in the area and decided to try McNamara's. When you enter the restaurant it has a nice charm to it and the bar does give it credibility as an Irish Pub. We sat on the patio that was on the Lowell Ave. side. We had a cup of the potato leek soup, pecan almond salad and a small... More

One of my favorite Chicago places. Excellent food - best pork chops ever. Love the Shepherd's Pie and pretty much everything. Lunch has fabulous tilapia tacos. Wine/ beer or soft drinks. Dining indoor, outdoor or at the sports bar. I always bring guests here.

I haven't had a bad dish here. The Sea Scallops are to die for, and my husband raves about the Shepherd's Pie. It's a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner without a hefty price tag. Love it!

Local neighborhood restaurant and bar, you've seen one of these places in virtually every city neighborhood throughout the country. Nice enough staff. Cozy little bar that is frequented by locals. Restaurant area adjacent to the bar has an outside patio that offers up a fairly standard menu, all of which is rather average and mundane. Offerings include fish and chips,... More

One of my retired colleagues lives in the neighborhood and asked the 4 of us to get together for lunch here. The food was excellent. Two of usI had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes while the other 2 order sandwich plates (BLT with fries and hamburger w/fries). The atmosphere is that of a typical pub and they have a... More

Went to visit a friend in Chicago and she took us to her neighborhood pub for dinner. We arrived shortly before closing, but they were nice enough to accommodate us. The food was very good. Soup, salmon, sandwiches, fish & chips are what we ordered. The waiter was very attentive and chatty. Once he learned we were visitors he told... More

Hadn't eaten here in a while, but the food is still very good. They start you with a tasty warm mini-loaf of bread. One of the Monday night specials is two thick and delicious pork chops for $13 (the single pork chop price). This is served with soup or salad, choice of potato (double baked is best), and mixed vegetables.... More
