We were in the mood for carbonara and it was the only place that was close with good reviews. It did not disappoint. Also got mussels in white sauce and bucatini amatriciana. Massive servings, so be warned. For a 2+2 family we had enough for dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day.

The quality of the food, the service and the ambience are unequaled. The care that goes into each dish just cant be found anywhere. I've been to hundreds of restaurants in my 55 years but once I found Agostino's I had no reason to venture out into the world to try and find anything better, because it just wasn't possible.

Small Italian restaurant serving excellent food. Excellent and polite service too! The lemon chicken and chicken marsala are wonderful. The roasted potatoes are the best that I have had in a long time. One of the few Italian restaurant still serving spumoni.

I'm very hard to please, in terms of restaurant quality. I loved it here. Expensive, but clearly you're paying for quality. Who would have thought on the corner of Diversy & Harlem. From the moment we walked in, everyone so friendly-loved this about them. Great food and great service. I recommend appetizers and light dishes for sharing. I don't like... More

This may be the first time I have been to an Italian restaurant and NOT ordered pasta. Why? Well, it came on high recommendation from a friend who's restaurant advice I respect, that the seafood dishes at Ristorante Agostina were particularly special. Our recent meal certainly validated her recommendation. We started with a half dozen baked clams. Although very tasty,... More

People get all crazy and want to go downtown for dinner. They want the glitz, the crazy prices, the absolutely insane prices for a bottle of wine and not to mention the traffic and valet parking charges. Here is a restaurant on the northwest side, with free parking, generous portions, great service and an owner that cares. Not to mention... More

This place is ridiculously overpriced. Not at all worth the money. Many better options in this city. Do yourself a favor and SKIP this place, I know I will.

Agostino is about as close as you will get to traditional Italian home cooking, Agostino himself and his wife Anna do most of the cooking. The waiters are polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything is made to order so if you are in a hurry you need to slow down because as they say, good things come to those... More

This neighborhood eatery was wonderful, warm and cozy with great service. The menu had all the traditional Italian favorites. Every dish was delectable and then some, Portions were generous and prepared perfectly.
