Pros: Pleasant atmosphere, great fish dishes, historic firehouse building with original tiffany tiles and fireman's pole and very interesting history, wait staff very good, in house made desserts, upscale but not stuffy, very tall windows at far end have replaced former firehouse engine garage doors...More

We had visitors from out of town and my wife and I wanted to visit the Firehouse after it was reopened. We were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent and properly impressed our visitors. We will return.

Recently visited Chicago Firehouse as we live in the South Loop and I've been excited to see how the renovation went. It did not disappoint from a design perspective. The space is absolutely gorgeous. A lovely mix of beautiful design elements and luxury while still...More

The historic Chicago Firehouse has been reopened after a long closure, ironically due to a fire that gutted the building. The owners took almost 2 years to reopen but the result is better than before. A new roof terrace bar and more intimate dining patio...More

The first thing you notice when you walk in this restaurant is the absolutely stunning decor. The place is decorated wonderfully and has a really cool wrap around bar that is huge. The service from Michael was outstanding. We split a crab and avocado appetizer...More

great meal in a superb restaurant, good service and definitely worth a visit if you're looking for 'that little thing more'. Don't go if you don't have the time to enjoy and savour the excellent food and drinks they serve.

My wife and I had a wonderful early dinner there recently. My wife said it was the best steak she's had in a very long time. The service was outstanding, the food even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I enjoyed the soup of the day which was a corn chowder with a nice bit of heat to it. The seafood tower was amazing according to my husband. The 8 oz petite filet was perfectly cooked...More

This is a gem in the South Loop. After the fire that closed this restaurant for almost two years, it has reopened and is even better. We had a great lunch in the outdoor brick patio, with white table cloth covered tables and filled with...More

South Loop
This downtown neighborhood offers a variety of
activities ranging from cultural to sporting. If you
happen to visit during football season, you may bump
into a boisterous few fans on their way to a Bears
game on the southernmost tip of South Loop. On the
flip side, Museum Campus offers cultural and
educational experiences in its planetarium, museum and
aquarium, all situated along the lakefront. Grant Park
