Good ambience but quality of food is Lacking. Had dinner there two days in a row. First day I tried south India Uthappam It was half done, I could smell the dough. The side orders were good. Next day I ordered North India fare, Malai Kofta - it was no where close to being authentic. The kofta again was half... More

Myself and my wife went for dinner around 6pm on Monday 6th February. when we arrived the place was empty The food was OK to say the least but the bill did not match what we got. I had the Tandoori mix and had to order a separate sauce to go with it at a cost of $8 (for a... More

Great price for downtown Chicago. 1/2 block off Michigan Ave. Very attentive service and very good variety of food, all hot and fresh. We make this a destination each time we're in Chicago.

After walking past the restaurant being able to look down into the bar area decided to give it a try as other reviews were positive. The food was outstanding and the service was good. Had the fish curry however if was loaded cilantro which I do not like and had to pick out, otherwise the fish and sauce were very... More

Food is good, but not as great as some people are raving about. I didn't like their appetizers as they have same batter for everything. Mix veg Pakora had bell peppers and zucchini slices. No paneer or cauliflower. May be they are thinking of non-indian eaters... We ordered 2 plates of Pakora...it is OK but my 12 year old says... More

Our first waiter was entirely "too familiar" and didn't allow us time to peruse the menu or chat with our guests. The food was OK, not great. Our second waiter kept trying to take away dishes before we were finished and seemed as though he wanted us to just leave. Will not return.

This is an OK large restaurant in a basement location that you can see from the street. Traditional staples like Chicken Tikka Masala and Vegetable curry dishes are available. Alcohol is offered. Service was slow and we waited for over an hour to get our food.

We obviously had the worst waiter there. Our food took nearly an hour! He forgot my glass of wine, and rarely even came by the table. I would have complained to the manager, but my companion hates that because it makes a bad visit worse. His food was very good, mine was okay, but I was so angry I couldn't... More
