Everything was just great. Chance discovery after massive disappointment the night before. Fantastic seafood.

We happened to be in Chicago during Restaurant Week. There must have been hundreds of choices. We selected this restaurant mostly because of its close location to our hotel. The service was great, the food prepared and presented nicely! We'll go back next time in town.
We decided to give Devon seafood a try for 2017 Chicago restaurant week. I've tried many restaurants over the years but the food and menu here was my favorite. The lobster bisque is sinfully amazing. The crab cakes are the best I've ever had and I've had some really good ones. The portions are a nice size as well. Our... More
Good place for business or an intimate dinner. Service is spot on. Recipes are good. Seafood tower is a good value, although the lobster roll was definitely lacking in ... lobster. Décor downstairs is elegant. Upstairs is more casual.
My husband had oysters, he said they were great! I had the lobster bisque soup. It was delicious. Then for dinner we had a filet (med rare...which was cooked to perfection) the mashed potatoes and lobster Mac & chz! It was all fantastic. Our waitress was very nice. Overall an great dinner.

We tried the charred tuna and scallops - both well prepared and presented. The scallops were a little more successful in this style. We had... More

It sounds good, but the service was so slow, and the food mediocre. Overall, my expectations were based on past experience when the service was excellent, and... More
We spent 3 nights in Chicago for a girls weekend. This restaurant was recommended by my daughter's friend. The food was excellent. Portions were reasonable, not too big, not too small. Value for the food we received was also excellent. If possible, use TA's reservation system - or go to Open Table. Reservations are recommended if you want to avoid... More
Remember when restaurants advertised that they were flying in fresh fish daily from Hawaii or Alaska or the Gulf of Mexico or Massachusetts? It was a rarity. Most fish was frozen, not fresh from the sea. No longer. Today, everybody flies in freshly caught fish from as far away as Greece. It's what you have to do to be competitive.... More
