If you visit Chicago but don't eat any deep dish pizza, were you really there? Probably not, and this is exactly why I made it a point to track down Pizzeria Uno who actually created this style of pizza. Now, I've had Chicago style pizza before, but you can't say you've tried it until you've actually eaten it in the... More

The place is loud and lively. Be warned. But service is good and quick. It takes a good 20-30 mins to get your deep dish pizza made. I am from Italy and shared a middle size deep dish pizza, Uno style. I was surprised about the pleasant texture of the tomato sauce and the strong but pleasant taste of the... More

Staying a block away at the Marriott. Ordered a pizza and they use Grub Hub rather than walk the block. Pizza took an hour longer than projected and was luke warm. Not impressed with this experience.

I love that they have individual pizzas. I got a decent meal-sized pizza with the toppings I wanted for an affordable price. But get there early on a weekend day! We went on a Friday evening and had to wait about 45 minutes for our table. The place is quite small for a restaurant. The good thing is, they start... More

One hour wait just to cook the pizza and at the end it does'nt taste good. Toi many sauce that taste cheap tomatoes and the dough is not a real pizza dough...this is really disapointing. Missed some flavours.maybe because i am a pizza lover!

My husband and I visited this restaurant while staying in Chicago for our honeymoon. Paul hadn't tried deep dish pizza before and so we thought we would go somewhere that specialises in it to try it. We started with the veggie dip platter which was nice served with ranch and hummus. We then shared an individual pizza and a salad.... More

You can't visit Chicago without trying the deep dish pizza at this landmark. The pizza was good, but takes 45 minutes...so plan to wait.

I have heard this was the original home of the chicago deep pan pizza. Walked in and met by friendly staff and told that if ordering a pizza it would be 45 minutes which was a good heads up. I ordered a starter of crab and shrimp dip, yummy but a lot if it as it came with garlic bread.... More
