Great Pizza, Great atmosphere. Friendly service. If you like Chicago style pizza instead of that New York style stuff you need to go here. You don't "fold" pizza!!!

The crust was incredible and flaky like a pie should have in it. The toppings were fresh and service was good. Waiting for Chicago deep dish pizza is tough but worth it. It usually takes 45 to cook so plan accordingly and be prepared to be patient.

We went to Lou Malnati's on our first night in Chicago and then Gino's on our second. We preferred Gino's. Even though it took an hour for the deep dish pizza to cook, it was worth it. We sat at the bar and had some drinks while watching basketball. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. Be prepared to wait a while... More

We drove to see family in Indiana then took the train to Chi to eat at Gino's. I had never been and was excited to try the famous pie. We had a app of their Cheesy Pizza Bread and calamari. The bread was excellent and warm and so cheesy. The calamari was very good crisp and cooked just right. Of... More

Our group of business colleagues visited Gino’s East while staying at the hotel next door. Not being from Chicago, I was unsure what to expect. Long story short, after a 30 minute wait (all pies are baked from scratch, they say), I received a flavorful, hot, deep dish pizza loaded with spices and topped with a jalapeno, just as I'd... More

Their pizza is so good but plan an hour for a deep dish to cook and don't fill up on appetizers in the meantime.

We ordered a deep dish beef brisket pizza. After waiting the 45 for baking, it arrived without the beef on it. We called it to our servers attention, who got the manager. The manager offered to get another for us, but we had theater tickets and no time to wait. As we were paying the manager brought a plate with... More

After hearing so much hype about Chicago deep dish pizza, we were so excited to try it, but left the restaurant so disappointed by the experience. First of all, to minimize the crowds in the restaurant, be aware that they require everyone to line up outside and only allow a few groups into the restaurant at a time, which may... More

This is hands down our favorite pizza place. The crust is buttery and flaky. The sauce is thick and full of flavor. You can't go wrong with deep dish or thin crust. When friends visit from out of town, they always want to come here. We are happy to oblige!

We had lunch there and by the time we were leaving there was a huge line to get in and I assume is just for the novelty factor. Our lunch was good, but I don't think it merits the wait. The pizza was good - love the crust, and we had a harvest salad which was also good.
