I wish I could remember our bartenders name, I do know she moves around a lot and her boyfriend is in the kitchen, anyways, she was fantastic. Really knew her stuff. Casual dining with great food, great wine and drink choices, and excellent service!!! Four of us sat outside in the back for an early dinner. Lovely staff - helpful and attentive. Great little patio in back - especially great if you don't have a reservation! My son picked this place for the charcuterie, and I believe he was happy! An imaginative menu which is executed with skill. The cocktails are varied and service is very good. Not much room for all the custom they have but a good vibe and ambiance.

We just stopped for a drink and were very excited by the wine- beer-and drinks offered. Here is a menu of cheeses and charcuterie that are varied and just creative. The menu may be small but very ambitious and cohesive,as we had to try the cheese and the in house made oatmeal bread blew our taste buds away.

We visited on a Friday night - the place was busy but we never felt neglected. My husband and I split the duck liver mousse, the gravlax, the polenta and mushroom, and the wienerschnitzel. We almost couldn't find this place because the front is so nondescript. Inside the atmosphere was a combination of rustic and urbane. Understated but composed, with an eclectic soundtrack. From the moment we walked in the staff was so welcoming. Reminds me of so many great Chicago restaurants with that neighborhood feel. B Great drink menu and wine and beer lists.
