Got to love a place where the chef owner is always on the premises. The veal chop with fontina cheeses and prosciutto could be my favorite dish of all time. It beats Veal a la Gabe from La Scarola and handily beats Gibsons Italia veal...More

The food was good but the restaurant is too small to really have a good enjoyable experience. They really need a bigger seating area and a bigger bathroom. Other than that the food was really good.

Riccardo Trattoria may be the best Italian restaurant in Chicago, and that's saying something. It's a tiny place with perhaps 10 tables on North Clark Street, right across the street from the site of the infamous St. Valentine's Day massacre. The food is lovingly prepared,...More

This place has amazing fresh pasta. I decided to try 3 different types. I got the Bolognese, Pesto, and Pumpkin Brown Butter Sage Ravioli. All of them were amazing and I will defiantly be back. Come here for amazing Italian food in Lincoln Park.

Small restaurant, not fancy but genuine and welcoming. We shared 3 dishes, perfect for two. The fried zucchini blossoms were excellent. The cavatelli del pastore with goat ragu was outstanding. Then we had an incredible seared tuna, very simple with some arugula and lime/lemon juice....More

Even the waitors are from the old country and the food is out of this world. Reminiscent of the movie, "Big Night", you will feel transported several decades back in time. Our group was six and we each got something different and then shared. My...More
