We have held our board meetings here for a couple of years. We just found out that "The Oatman House" is closing it's doors on 31 December 2015. Great breakfast meetings here will be missed. The building is for sale. Will someone please buy it so we can go back again.

The Victorian House is only one block off the main street in town with free parking in front of the house. Reservations are not necessary but helpful. The Italian beef sandwich with au jus was very good as was the salmon filet on top of lettuce salad. They had cider as well as cinnamon tea (both hot and cold) as... More

Went here with colleagues for lunch during the week. It was not busy at all. Nice menu with a couple soups, several salad options and multiple sandwiches. You can also do combinations. I had the 1/2 chicken salad on croissant, Caesar salad and cup of lobster bisque. The soup actually tasted like lobster. Lots of chicken in the salad. I... More

Several friends and I take turns choosing a restaurant each month. We meet, eat, visit. We were curious about the interior and history. Our server had little to no info about the house and to us seemed unwilling to talk about it. Our food wasn't bad. This was a couple years ago when we visited. There was thick dust in... More

A board I serve on has monthly breakfast meetings here, The food is excellent. Furnishings are quaint because this is a tea room. My favorite is the Frittata with feta cheese.

This quaint home is truly a perfect representation of a beautiful tea room. The decor is wonderful and makes you feel like you were taken back in time, when things were simpler and more relaxing! Once you walk in, you are treated as family and are taken in by the warmth of the staff. The food was excellent! I had... More

I saw this Tea House here on Trip Advisor and wanted to check it out. A very nice and cozy tea house, excellent food and service. I had the chicken club, vegetable soup and the BLT pasta salad. A pick three choice for $9.99. ALL very yummy. The tea was excellent. You must try the Hot Cinnamon Spice!! And don't... More

Recently I had the pleasure of lunch with some of my favorite relatives in this area. The Oatman House provided a warm and cozy atmosphere for the four of us plus a small baby. The food was wonderful, and I had been there once before, so I expected it to be just as good as the first time. It did... More

We celebrated my daughter's college graduation with lunch on the back patio and were so delighted with the absolutely delicious home-made soup and the fresh fresh fresh salad and yummy sandwiches. Our table was reserved with a handwritten sign. Very cool! Is it different? Oh yes. Definitely an experience and a great one. Don't miss it. Celebrate something special here.... More
