My first visit to Chama Gaucha was for a business group dinner. I expected a typical Brazilian steakhouse, but was happy to find an extremely high-quality appetizer bar and incredible high-quality meat selection. The service was impeccable, and every food item was the freshest and...More

This was my first experience at a Brazilian steakhouse. The skewered meats were delicious. The salad bar is amazing. The soup is very tasty and fresh. It is truly a unique experience. It is expensive though so I would recommend this for a special occasion....More

Best meat cuts around. The salad bar is a plus. Lunch is the better value. Highly recommend for friends, couples, date night, or family parties. 100 Percent best place to get your stomach totally full!

It is hard to find many restaurants that seem to value your visit. We were greeted, served, asked over and over, drinks refilled , superb salad bar and excellent meat choice and more than you can eat to fill your pallet. The desserts were awesome....More

Best Brazilian Steakhouse. This is my 3rd time coming here. The steaks are cooked well. Compared to Fogo De Chao or the Texas De Brazil. The meats they are offer are seasoned just right not too bland and not too salty like Texas De Brazil....More

Excellent service and friendly staff. The salad bar has such great variety and good food. You could almost just eat from the salad bar (with soup). But the variety and quality of the meat served is even better than Texas de Brazil. My husband says...More

Yes to the many sides available. The salad bar can be visited as often as necessary for it's assortment of jamon and cheeses.
Yesterday we attended Chama Gaucha for dinner at the Houston location and while the food was very good as expected we left with a very sour taste because we were literally robbed at gun point when it came to settle our bill. We paid with a preloaded Visa card good for a total of $289.61, our total dinner bill was $241.33, but when Lupillo our server presented us with the bill, he first said that we had a credit for $9.00 to be applied to his tip but in the shuffle he changed his story to saying that it was wrong and that we were short on $9.00 asking for the $9.00 plus his tip. I was never satisfied with his attitude and self-created confusion therefore when I got home I call the Visa card and they told me that the amount charged by Chama Gaucha was in effect $ 289.60 (I have written proof of this fact) and to top it all off, Lupillo granted himself a generous additional tip of $20.00 Cash. Details and dishonesty like this result in angry clients; I will try to get my money back from Gama Gaucha and of course I will never visit any of their locations, another good place totally spoiled by dishonest employees

I'm sorry with your experience - maybe you should call the manager to let them know your experience so they can put a stop to the attitude of this server that is putting a bad taste to their name.
