It's a small restaurant at the end of a strip mall, but don't miss this gem. The owners know their Thai food. I love just about everything they make, especially the Panang Curry. It's pricey in my opinion, but the food is very good.

The food at Happy Elephant is, no doubt, delicious, but it is the owners that really make this place special. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They explain food to you and also share their own stories with you. It is always a wonderful experience when you go here. We like it so... More

I had the pumkin seed crusted chicken that was delicous. The waitor was so nice and personable. Would highly recommend this restaurant. They have wooden elephants throughout the restaurant.

Happy Elephant is my favorite Thai restaurant. Ning always cooks up delicious food whether you like the pad thai, fried rice or curry dishes. This is a small family restaurant with just a few tables, but it's always busy at lunch. It's by far the best place in the area and you can always count on fast friendly service, especially... More

Just had lunch with coworker. Food was fresh and fast. Lunch special includes soup that we received even before ordering. Includes egg roll or cucumber salad as well. The pad C U was as good as other Thai I've had but a nice fresh and lighter sauced spin. I'll be back again for lunch.

I travel to Chicago a lot and I always stop by this place or have it delivered. Peanut Chicken Rama is great, as is the Orange Chicken. Everything I ever had here is excellent. I have probably eaten here ten times in the last year. The crab Rangoon are very crisp and tasty. I LOVE the sweet and sour sauce.... More

Went here for lunch and ordered one of my favorite Thai dishes which couldn't be easier to make, Basil Fried Rice. Extremely disappointed. First, the jalapeños were not chopped, just sliced. Really? I didn't order nachos with cheese. Use your kitchen tools to chop the peppers! Secondly, the fried rice was barely fried. It was like half white rice and... More

A wonderful little (26 seats) lunch spot made a big splash. Patrick greeted me at the counter and when I shared that I needed a vegan suggestion, he really delivered! I had the Ginger Rush, a spring roll, with peanut sauce and jasmine tea... Also tons of gluten free options! I'm a happy diner at Happy Elephant!
