This place has great, standard bar food. Had the BLT and fish & chips. Both options were tasty and the fries were spot on. Service was fast and pleasant. Didn't seem to be too crowded, but they have plenty of seating for busier times of the day. The old De Soto hotel was fun to walk around in after lunch... More

This restaurant is handy if you are staying at the De Soto. Since the kitchen is on another level, the service is not always very good, especially if there is a problem with your order.

I ordered the French Salad for lunch and found it very yummy and filling. The waiter did a good job of keepingt up with lots of tables during a busy Saturday lunch crowd.

The Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries was outstanding. The sandwich is huge with generous amounts of pork and ham. Also stopped another day for an afternoon drink, Forgot how good an Irish coffee can taste when made with fresh cream on top

We have been to Galena before but had not eaten here. We stopped by for a snack as our three year old granddaughter was quite hungry. Our son had a delicious sandwich with particularly wonderful French fries. My wife and I shared a snack of fried cheese curds and a cheese, fruit, and sausage plate. It was delightful. Great décor,... More

Our party of 6 were all delighted with our meals. Delicious salads & sandwiches. Service great too! Galena is such a fun town, this is centrally located so perfect for lunch, dinner or just cocktails.

A group of 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids) came in at right around noon on a Thursday. There were only a couple other people there, which was surprising. The staff was friendly, but it was probably 15 minutes before we had drinks, and right around an hour before we received our food. This is a LONG time when... More

The garlic fries were great, bbq sauce was tangy and sweet, and the beer was cold. Would highly recommend the cheese steak, it came on a pretzel bun.

We stopped in after glancing at the menu outside. We didn't realize that they also have a nicer restaurant downstairs so we didn't realize that the menu we were looking at was actually for the restaurant downstairs. But our waitress said we could order from that menu but they just might not be able to do some of the side... More
