Small intimate dining room overlooking the Mississippi River with stunning sunsets. My wife had salmon cooked to perfection and I had the special of the night...duck breast with a morel mushroom sauce. Worth the short drive from downtown Galena.

We made reservations for the chef's table and had a memorable experience and meal. Chef Steve was engaging and has many fascinating stories. The food was creative and delicious from the pea and lavender soup to the salmon and risotto. Be sure to leave room for dessert! The bread pudding made with croissants was amazing. Kris provided friendly and attentive... More

We had dinner in the restaurant on a Saturday evening without reservations. As with the rest of the service at the Goldmoor - it was impeccable - second only to the fabulous meals we had. Definite revisit in October 2017!

We stayed in the B&B two nights. The first night we didn't want to drive into Galena so we stayed for dinner. It was awesome! Moist, tender and tasty chicken, flavorful pasta and an incredible salted caramel croissant bread pudding. We made reservations for the second night because we couldn't imagine going elsewhere when there were still items on the... More

We were guests at the Goldmoor Inn, and so we ate the majority of our meals there. I would highly recommend doing that if you're staying at the Inn. We ate one meal in Galena and it was awful. The food at the Goldmoor, on the other hand, was delicious. The breakfasts are yummy and plentiful--French toast, waffles, muffins, eggs,... More
