We came here to eat lunch. My wife had the bbq beef & fries, I had the pot roast, corn and mashed potatoes. They were both good and they give you generous portions. It cost us $15 plus the tip. I have noticed that the interior could be a bit cleaner, thus only a 4 rating. I will be back... More

I come here occasionally on Tuesday for the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and corn. They give you a generous portion and the food is great. Waitresses are nice as well.

Finally stopped in after hearing great things about Itty Bitty. So glad we did! We each ordered a burger and fries. Awesome! I know a burger and fries sounds simple, but a lot of places are so-so. These burgers were what I would call "old fashioned" burgers. Crisp edges. Nothing fancy- just good! There were about 10 others dining or... More

This is our favorite breakfast spot near GC. Friendly staff, efficient service and the food is prepared exactly how you order it and served nice and hot. The menu is simple, home style food at a fair price. Good spot for breakfast. I recommend the not so itty bitty special if you aren't planning to eat again all day. :).

Nice "Locals" resturant off the beaten path. Friendly staff. Clean. Fair pricing. Vegetable soup was full of flavor. If I'm passing through again, I'd stop in again.

Get your Kicks on Route 66 is the old saying and this fun little cafe is on 66. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the food is basic grille fare but good and at a fair price. The cafe is small but set up with antique 50s type artifacts. So if you're on the 66 give them a... More

You won't be disappointed with this Mom & Pop style diner. It's tucked at the end of a mini strip-mall, on THE ORIGINAL ROUTE 66 - Chain of Rocks Road, in the sleepy village of Mitchell, Illinois. When you walk-in, you'll feel like you belong there. They've cleverly covered the walls with collections of memorabilia, and mid-century decor. There's even... More

On the Route 66 trail, the building is modern, but once you enter, it's a trip back to the "Glory Years," of the Mother Road. The service was great, ant the food even better. The decor is memorabilia of the Route 66 era. We got the fresh made burger, & the waitress was right, the onion rings we great. Unfortunately,... More

I found out about this place because there is a guy at work that eats here everyday.the food is good. However I find it a bit pricey for my tastes. I got a fish dinner. It included on piece of fish and two sides. $8. A bunch of fries and a Lil cup of Mac & Cheese does not say... More

Situated near Route 66 near Mitchell, Illinois, the Itty Bitty Cafe is a cozy spot with a surprisingly choice of menu items. The decor is quaint with ample references to Route 66 road culture. The food is great, and the staff provides very friendly service. The food evokes a past time when food was not rushed and packaged. For lunch... More
