Great curry large portions succulent meat and on point service.
Does not disappoint if u fancy an Indian. Changed owners since we were last here and finally getting busier as it deserves.
Will deffo return on our next visit.

This place is good for group get together. Staff is friendly and professional At the same time. The food was delicious there. The ambience of the restaurant is also great n peaceful. Some of the dishes we tried were chicken tikka tandoori, mix grill, chicken karahi, palak paneer, chana masala n some naans and rice. We enjoyed having dinner there. At last we ordered Mango kulfi pistachu and Gulab Jamun.. We enjoyed the food so much that we already have planned to visit there again soon.. Must visit👍🏻👍🏻

Tasty food and friendly service.
The karahi paneer was lush.
It is not a 5 star rating because we ordered 4 poppadum but only received 2, and they were cold. The chicken tikka jalfrezi did not have chicken tikka in it.
The bill was much less than some of our lunches so very good value for money

Could not fault any of the dishes when we ate here! Extensive menu with a great selection from the traditional to the chef specials!
We tried 6 main dishes during our 2 visits and each one was rich, flavoursome and with plenty of meat and vegetables.
I have read some comments saying that the portions are small, but we thought they were perfect! I can only guess theses diners were after the usual huge English portions of just gravy and meat.
The pickle selection that came with the poppadoms were really good and the naan bread was lovely and thin, crispy and drenched with garlic. YUM!!
The wine list was great too!
Fantastic value for money!!

This restaurant gets very good reviews on Trip Advisor, so we had high hopes when we booked our table. The service was not the friendliest, for instance we had a giant fan on full power right next to our table. I asked the waiter if it could be turned off and he was quite brusque about that. Also half the diners were located outside across a road, so given there were only two waiters I thought they would be stretched.
We started with vegetable samosa and as soon as it was brought to the table I knew we were in for a long evening. They were horrible, cooked in a really thick pastry.
I got lamb jalfrezi that was not at all spicy while my wife got a chicken dish that was totally tasteless. The only thing just about passable was the naan bread. The presentation was good though, and I thought it was good that the dishes were all served on trays with candles underneath keeping the food warm.
On reflection I was surprised at how good the reviews were given the quality of the food, however when we moved onto Pollenca I noticed that the two highest reviewed restaurants there were also Indian restaurants. I was beginning to smell a rat and have come to the conclusion that these reviews are possibly all rigged.

It might seem odd to go for an Indian meal in Spain but I thoroughly recommend it especially at the Maharani in Port de Soller.
The food was piping hot and full of flavour. The sauces accompanying the poppadoms were delicious. I loved the nan, purists might prefer a more doughy bread but this was slightly crispier and therefore not as filling.
The staff are welcoming and efficient - plenty of fans if you sit indoors as outside can be a bit noisy with the scooters going past.

Three times we ate lovely food at the Maharani Indian Tandoori Restaurant during the 14 days we were in Port De Soller.
The service is friendly, fast and professional and the food is beautiful and well prepared and is served on hot plates. Each time we chose the crispy papadams with four very different dips for starters and then one of the many delicious curry dishes and a cold kingfisher.
I give my warmest recommendation to Maharani Indian Tandoori Restaurant, which I would like to visit again.

The Maharani is a wonderful Indian style restaurant in the beautiful Port De Soller. We had a take away one night and it was so delicious we went and had a sit down meal 2 nights later. The food is delicious(please can we have your chef/s over here in North Wales where I live), young vibrant staff, nothing too much trouble and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. We visited this restaurant twice on our holiday both times the food was amazing the best Indian we have ever had . Great service from the young man & woman . Thank you so much will hope to visit you again in the future x

Exceptional vegan and vegetarian food options. I highly recommend the chickpea masala and also the flavourful garlic naan bread.
In our 1 week stay in port de soller we visited Maharani 3 times in total.

Amazing food & service. We as a family ordered a variety of curries, chicken vegetarian paneer & prawn dishes. They all came piping hot and beautifully presented. Large portions of rice & chips and the best peshwari naan the party had tasted. The drinks were reasonably priced and there was draft beer.
The staff could not to enough for you and they were very attentive. There was a steady stream of take away orders as well.

Not the nicest spot in the Port. Like sitting in the middle of a duel carrigeway. Restaurant busy, service slow and the staff did things to suit there pace. The dishes are quite large portions. No chicken pakora left!! Onion bhaji had been cooked a few times. Tandoori chicken starter had more onions than chicken. The mushroom rice was bland the maharani special and butter chicken were overwhelmed with ground nuts. The nan was delicious and the price was reasonable. Only restaurant on our trip where we suffered afterwards.

What a gem of a restaurant! Tucked away off the main promenade but 100% worth the effort as the food & service is brilliant. Have visited lots of Indian restaurants in the UK but the food at the Maharani beats them all for price and quality.
Noted how busy they are especially in the evening so might be an idea to book if you want to sit outside.
Would return in a heartbeat!

A fabulous ‘old school’ Indian restaurant situated across the road from our hotel, Hotel Es Port.
The food was hot, tasty and plentiful.
The staff were really pleasant and helpful.
We enjoyed the sharer starter for 2 followed by king prawn masala & chicken tikka balti. They were full of meat and prawns and different from what we’re used to in a good way.
We ordered a rice each, they were huge so next time we’ll share. We also had the nicest peshwari naan ever.
The tables are well spaced out and a fan kept us cool.
Service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy.
All in all a fab experience & we highly recommend.

The best Indian restaurant in Port de Soller. However, I’m not sure if it’s the only one! Great food at very reasonable prices. It’s a standard anglicised Indian menu, offering everything you’d expect in your local British curry house. Service is excellent. Very friendly and fast.
