Our family was looking to have something different from the usual Italian fare served in the area so we decided to try Bavarian Lodge. We were thoroughly impressed. My husband and his sister had the half duck and loved every bite. I had the Triple Schnitzel Platter which was delicious. My mother-in-law had the Konigsberger Schnitzel. She is from Germany... Need a Wienerschnitzel fix? Here is the place. Craving some of the best beers in Europe, on tap too? This is it! Great service, atmosphere is cozy. My teenagers love it too! The bar is large & lively with a nice blend of age groups.

Classic German exterior. Large bar area on the right, dozens of German and domestic beers to choose from. The restaurant area on the left is large, a great menu to choose from, including some updated takes on German fare, my niece got a Schnitzel Salad (house salad with chopped schnitzel on top). Food was good, service was quick and friendly.

Plan to wait. Always busy. They do not take reservations. Got to the bar, tip a few and you will be seated as soon as they can. Great food, great beer. Heavy comfort food but great. They have a pork loin that is their specialty and it is absolutely amazing. During Christmas they serve malled wine.

Family get together with German links. Service was very efficient and food was not as good as everything else. Convenient, fun, and a great place for a beer or three. Not fine dining but more authentic than most. Give it a try.

I gave them a second chance and it was as bad as the first time. Slow, bad taste, careless people...

Only negative is the frequent wait times and no reservation policy. The food is as good as that we had in Germany and Austria and the beer list the most extensive we have seen.

All with dignity... and staff who really know thier stuff. If you walk into this restaurant and need beer guidance, please give an... More

Our party of six, visited the Lodge on Saturday Jan. 14th. My wife and daughter-in-law had the goulash with spatial. I had weinerschnitzel, as did my son. My son had chicken paprekosh. My sister-in-law had the knotwuertz. We all enjoyed our meals. the only issue was that my sister-in-law's bread dumplings had a gravy covering which tasted rancid. The beer... More
