Nice place and cozy environment. Prices are also good. Though, they dont have halal certificate and that concerns me. Team who works their always say halal but it seems like they have learned this word to sell food to muslims. Please confirm by yourself. Quantity is small, some items are good and some food items you can digest. This place... More

On a weekday for dinner I decided to have a shot at this joint. Very comfortably located at Roosevelt road this one was recommended to me by my Foodie colleague for some good pita. I ordered Chicken Shawarma pocket, Hummus with pita bread, falafel combo and baklava. For drinks I had Turkish coffee and iced tea. Well Hummus as usual... More

I went in there hoping for some middle eastern food it turned out to be 3 workers who has no idea of middle eastern food at all , I just wasted $20 for 2 meals . Their mix grill is so generic with no taste, Hummus has no taste at all and runny. All I know it was a mistake... More

We went to Pita House last day for lunch... Ordered Shish Kebab, super combination, Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. The food was tasty and heavy. Super combination was served with yellow rice with chicken steak pieces, beef, sirloin beef and veggies. The sauce was spicy and tasty. The main highlight is the kuboos they served with dishes. Very tasty and soft... we... More

I have eaten at Pita House for years. The owner really cares about the quality of the food they put out. He only uses fresh ingredients. If you are looking for delicious, lowfat/healthy food for a great price ... look no further. My favorite meal is the combo koefte (half beef, half lamb) with a small side of their baba... More

This is your typical Mediterranean food place, reasonably priced great food. The put door area is very nice to sit if Chicago weather permits... the quality of the meat was excellent and the taste just delicious. Will certainly go there again.

Having moved a few years ago out of IL I always compare my middle eastern food experiences with Pita House and nothing has lived up to their standard! I have been going to pita house since they only location was in Schaumburg and I think I was one of the first customers at the Lombard location. The staff is amazing... More

We visited Schaumber on our way to Oberlin for a graduation, and would not have give this place a second look except our son in law said it was well thought of. And boy was he right. The food was fresh , very fresh, and delicious. The tastes of the falafel and the other Middle Eastern delights were genuine, there... More
