The food and service is excellent here. The All You Can Eat dinners are like a buffet brought right to your table. The waitresses just keep refilling the bowls as they become empty. The chicken dinner included:chicken, corn, seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, apple butter, and drink. It was absolutely wonderful.

I think an excellent rating is correct for this restaurant because of the beauty of the building. The log building is on a scenic site. The inside is wood throughout. I believe the operation has been serving guests since the 1930s. Parts of the dining area have windows that over look the scenic site. If the restaurant had nearby competitors... More

They have a Sunday breakfast that is all you can eat. It is traditional home style breakfast foods. There is a wide variety from eggs to pancakes to waffles.

Good Sunday dinner, all you can eat. Chicken, potatoes, corn, green beans, chicken and dumplins... If you don't like chicken, don't come! Good food and drinks, pretty scenery. They do have parties here, but for that you have to make reservations. This would probably be a really nice for a wedding. I know they do have other foods, but it's... More

The fried chicken is crispy, well-seasoned, and all-you-care-to-eat. It comes with family-style plates of lots of side dishes, including green beans like my mom used to make, dumplings, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, cole slaw, and biscuits... all for about $12. The lodge is lofty and quaint. Our waitress was very nice. We also got a nice beer that they had... More

You're never quite sure what to expect in a State Park. Let me just say this was better than expected. Slightly above average dinners at reasonable prices, in just s beautiful atmosphere.

I was very impressed with both the quailty of the food and the service. You can order menu items but we ordered the chicken dinner which is served family style. A ton of food! Being a State Park, the decor was beutiful.
