Get set for an overload of Americana kitsch in this joint. From the decor, the rotating flags and the staff hairdos, this place sort of makes you shake your head. However they do a good job on breakfast and the prices aren't bad. Service is a bit slow so that was disappointing. Still, I think it's the best early morning... More

I've been going to stop here many times. Finally did! Don't be put off my all the trucks, its a truck stop. The restaurant is just part of it. The food is great. Home cook food with large portions. There is nothing that would not be great. The servers are very good. Prices are good with a senior discount. A different special... More

I can't say enough good things about the chicken pot pie I had at r place. Decor reminds me of grandma's house so I'm glad the food matched. In fact I know it was better then grandmas. My fiance had the ribeye, you get a good chunk of meat and the price is reasonable. We loved the salad bar. All... More

this has been a truckers place to go for years before I came to the area, I had to try it out. a half hour drive from my neck of the woods, I found that good food and large portions are the bomb. If you want good comfort food at a good price go here, well worth your trip, good... More

Yes, it is in a Truckstop but the resturant is a holdover from when it was an independent Truckstop. Their Chicken Pot Pie is one of the house dishes I have enjoyed here. They have a "gimmmick" 4 pound burger where if you can eat it it is free. A little like the 72 ounce steak in Lubbock Texas. The... More

Don't let the fact that this place is in a truck stop deter you from eating here. The restaurant is very cozy and the food is excellent. There's a salad bar that is small but has an excellent variety. They have a vast menu with full breakfast options, sandwiches and entrees for dinner. Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend... More

If you were to close your eyes and open them in the restaurant you would think your in a fancy restaurant. The food has always been great. And have never had a problem with the wait staff.

Stopped in at lunch time on a Sunday. Place was packed. Took about 10 mins to get seated and had to wait a while to get order. Food was pretty pricey for family restaurant. $52 for a sandwich, a salad (no meat) pasta & sauce and french toast with hashbrowns (3 drinks).

I'd give it 3 stars. The decor is country whimsical. The community is modern. And connected to the Chicago metropolitan area.

Thank Brandon R
