This is a classic, throwback restaurant. It has a special place in the hearts of many of us who grew up on the North Shore. The pizza is amazingly thin, with a bit of corn flour to give it texture and crunch. There are also a number of non-pizza options you can order, including salads and sandwiches. You order, get... I have been going to Barnaby's for years. They have a wonderful thin crust pizza that is unchanging and excellent every time. I like the sausage pizza for the flavor of the crust, the sauce, and the sausage. This is not a NY pie that flops around in your hand, and it is not a trendy Neopolitan wood or coal... More

Barnabys has been serving great thin crust pizza since around 1967. It has not changed the menu or decor or the self serve aspect. They specialize in Italian food: pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken or veal dishes and a variety of sandwiches and salads. There is also full bar service. They also have take out. Once you order and pick-up your... More

We are a family of three sons in their thirties and we needed a venue we could all agree on in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for years and our family is composed of foodies who willingly argue about food all the time. We went early (because of four grandchildren under the... I remember when there were many Barnaby's around. It was mostly a pub with peanuts, but if you're looking for some memories of their pizza and pitchers of beer, then you will enjoy this location. Ordering is confusing, but you'll get the hang of it in this busy family place. Come for the pizza.

Picked up two thin crust pizzas. One pepperoni. Other sausage and black olive. Both were great. Still hot and tasty at home. Wait was reasonable (40 minutes after calling.) crispy crust. Tasty sausage. Favorite if the grandchildren.

I bought a ton of '70s Archie comics last week -- and the next thing I knew, I had a taste for a Barnaby's pizza. We called ahead to save time, and the pizza was ready when promised. The restaurant (and parking lot) were filled. We saw many three-generation families enjoying their meals. a popular family destination.......

Super casual and super good. Great place for kids. Place your order at the counter and wait to be called. Good food, good prices, good restaurant. The pizza crust is absolutely wonderful.
