Everything about this restaurant was excellent. First, the decor - a clean, contemporary Latin feel. Then , the service, flawless and attentive without being overbearing. Next came the tortilla chips and salsa. Truly, the chips were the best we've ever had. Then there was the...margarita - DITTO! And finally, we had the Carne Asada, which is my favorite Mexican dish of all time. Theirs was simply outstanding. There was not one single thing that I couldn't recommend.More

My wife and I were so excited to go out to eat for the first time in over a year! We met a friend in from NYC and sat outside. My wife order a squash dish, calabaza from the main menu. I ordered the brunch...menu, huevos rancheros. Our friend ordered the appetizer, queso fundido. My wife's squash dish may have been six ounces and my eggs were on top of about twelve black beans, a bit of cheese and some red salsa sauce, with two flat tortillas. The tortillas were very stiff and hard, I removed them. So two eggs and twelve beans with a sprinkle of cheese! Wow, I expected so much more. The appetizer was so much that our friend could not even finish it. We cannot justify going back to this place. The service was great and the atmosphere reminded us of rural Mexican restaurant. I certainly cannot understand all the five star reviews, this is a place to avoid!More

Great service. Food is beautifully presented. The fish tacos with mango salsa was tasty and colorful. The special tuna and shrimp ceviche with plantain chips was delicious. My friend had the pork and black beans and enjoyed every bite. Nice atmosphere.

We all love the nachos at Maya; topped of with their prickly pear margarita---well it just doesn't get better than that. Their entrees and soups are wonderful. Highly recommend Maya for a night of fun and conversation; would not recommend for an serious conversation as...it can be a bit noisy. Looking forward to their patio opening up; such a lovely setting for a late spring, summer or early fall dinner.More

What a great restaurant. Casual friendly atmosphere, good service (don’t be in a hurry though), excellent food from appetizers to dessert. The corn chips (freebies) were really very good, with 2 fresh salsas. The ceviche was excellent. 5 dishes later we were all satisfied but...then the dessert menu was superb. Wish we had this as our local.More

My friends from work got together and decided to go after work for cocktails. We sat in the back outdoor area. It was a nice atmosphere, the firepit was lit, really nice. The drinks were good as well.

We thought Maya Del Sol would be good based on the reviews but, alas, we were disappointed. What was good - Carne Asada 👍 Outside seating area 👍 Meals came out quick. What was mediocre 😲 - Ropa vieja, it was bland and the small...portion looked lost on the giant plate. What will make me not come back 😿- Plátanos were under cooked and came out 10 minutes after the main dish. Mojito was way too sweet and had way too much mint. None of the food was hot, just kind of warm. They seemed under staffed and under trained, but we’ve also seen this at a lot of other places recently.More

Maya has very good food with a pretty extensive menu. Service is good and typically quick. It can get crowded and the bar area is comfortable and accommodating.
