Le Longanier restaurant is a very nice oasis in the area around Cai Be. Our Exo Travel guide, who accompanied us in the boat from Cai Be, said that the restaurant was owned by the boat company in Cai Be and, if there was a requirement, as in our case, a meal was cooked and waitresses were on site. We... More

Our cruise on the Mekong Delta included a lunch stop! We were really delighted when we walked up the wee path and saw this oldly worldly colonial house. The staff are so friendly. I got a wee sticker on my chair to show I'm veggie! A set meal was on offer to the 14 of us. Veg soup for starters.... More

Visited here by boat during trip to Vietnam and Cambodia in 2013. Unexpected location and sensations of being transported back in time to French colonial opulence, matched by a modern Vietnamese immaculate greeting, service, food, and farewell. Nothing was too much trouble. Genuine surprise and delight

First of all, the restaurant is not situated in Phu Quoc but in Cai Be, an popular stop-over for boat tours and that is how we got here. The building is stunning, set in a beautiful garden with lots of birds (a rarity in Vietnam), making it a good break from the chaos of the rest of Vietnam. We had... More

As with most of the reviews this visit was part of our tour around the Mekong and it was a lovely surprise. The house is very attractive. Service was good and we enjoyed the food and presentation. It was very quiet and peaceful.

This lunch was included in our tour and after cruising along the Mekong river on a Victoria Cruise, it was nice to be able to walk to such a beautifully presented restaurant. The hostesses were beautifully presented as was the food - soup, spring rolls, elephant ear fish which was then wrapped in rice paper, though it was much nicer... More

We got here about 1.30pm after a 6.05am flight from Hoi An and a long drive then boat trip. The high standard and plentiful supply of food were really welcome and we enjoyed every bit of it! I was surprised to read a review about msg as this is something I have a problem with and I had no ill... More

It's a lovely French colonial building in Cai Be, a short walk from the river. They serve a set menu for those on a Victoria day cruise: fish, soup, nem (fried spring rolls), veggies, dessert... more food than one can eat. If you're a single traveler on a day cruise, you're paying double so I supposed you could ask for... More

Dear LA4man, We are very sorry to learn about your case. This is really an accident for us as people in the South, especially in the South West of Vietnam are famous for sweet taste - using more sugar than other regions in the whole country. We highly appreciate your review which helps us to improve quality of food and... More

As we walked along we wondered where our guide was taking us. In the middle of the country out came a beautiful french colonial style restaurant. Open air with beautiful scenery surronding the building. Staff were friendly. Food was excellent. Perfect end to our day cruise.

What a unique place, we were taken on a tour around the Mekong by Indochina Odyssey Tours, and ended having lunch at this marvelous place. The arquitecture, the ambiance, the decoration, transports one in time to the early 19th century. The food was immaculately presented and fantastic flavors, initiating with the local fish, which was delicious. Lunch was served by... More
