Let me start by saying you will almost always have to wait in a crowed waiting area to be called to your table. however, there is a reason for this. The food is always on point and always seved perfect. The fruit os always fresh and never looks sketch. The food is consitant and perfectly cooked. It is made fresh... More

We have been here many times and we will be back again in the future. The food is always good as is the service, Claudia was our server. The coffee is very good. I love the Swedish Pancakes and that is one of the reasons we return on each trip to Chicago. The prices are reasonable too.

We always leave satisfied. The food is always perfect. The apple pancakes are to die for and with a side of bacon you will feel like you've died and gone to heaven. The omelettes are the fluffiest you've ever seen and are cooked perfectly. Swedish pancakes are delish! They also have grass-fed burgers which are awesome and the fries are... More

We came to the Original Pancake House on a Sunday morning, though we did get there by 10:00 a.m., which meant that the wait was about 10 minutes. As we sat there, believe me, the line grew longer. There is enough parking with the side & rear parking lots, as well as the street parking lot. The service was excellent... More

This place is awesome and a madhouse most mornings. We have to steel ourselves before going here. It is a relatively small place maybe 20 or so tables and those tables are packed with lots of families. You may have to wait for a table to leave to be seated. It's a controlled chaos though. Once your at your table... More

A regular Sunday favourite treat. Pancakes and waffles with heaps of fresh fruit and cream. What's not to like?

Well, this place has a good reputation, but I think that's all. The culture of the service, you could tell, is just not good, from the host that just gives you a menu and shows you were to sit, to the grumpy bus boy, to the inattentive wait staff. I'm reviewing this by breakfast standards too, which, for me, are... More

If you go there, look up at the ceiling, watch out for the dripping water, through the filth. sent the fork back because it was dirty, then sent the food back, hair and all.

We found the staff to be very rude. The host was very condescending, the waitress was almost to the point of being rude. We told her that we needed new coffee as the cream was bad and her response was "did you mix it'? When she came back with new cream and coffee there was a very small amount of... More
