Ever since the Illinois high school basketball tournament was moved from Champaign to Peoria in the late 1990s, we made it a habit to have dinner at what was regarded as the best steakhouse in Peoria. We always thought it was as good as advertised. But, just for a change of pace, we decided to visit another steakhouse on our... More

My husband and I stopped here on a Friday night on our way to Iowa. Although there was a 45 minute wait for a table, we were able to eat at the bar. Sasha, our bartender, started me with my favorite drink, peach sangria. Our salads and hot bread were immediately served, and the outlaw rib eye was superb! Tender,... More

It's a fun place to go for steaks but to wait that long for something like this is really not worth it I'd recommend something local.

My beloved bride and I happened in here late on the night of Feb. 22nd. We had driven 270 miles from Ames, Iowa; a 700-mile leg awaited us to get home the next day. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, the food and the service were top-drawer in every respect. My steak was cooked perfectly, and my beloved really liked... More

Good thing we did the call-ahead seating! It was packed. We got right in w/ no wait. The food was excellent and our waitress was great. I ordered the filet and salmon and my husband ordered the ribeye. If you don't want the dinner salad your meal comes with, you can get a second side with your meal.

We were in Peoria for ILMEA high school music at the Civic Center. Our hotel was near the LongHorn Steak house and we thought to try it out. We do not have one near our town. Jess, our server was very good and very helpful. My husband ordered the Salmon with Asparagus and Broccoli and he also had a salad.... More

We stopped here to eat on the way to buy a new bass guitar. We got seated right away and the waiter was right there to get our order. The food was good and hot.The steak I got was cooked just right and very flavorful. We will eat here again.was very clean also.

We have always liked Longhorn. Their steaks, appetizers and sides are delicious. But on our last three visits we found that the service is slipping. I asked for no tomatoes and cucumbers on my salad but it came with tomatoes and cucumbers. My wife declined sour cream on her potato but it came loaded with sour cream. We ordered the... More
