Richard's is the greatest restaurant in Peoria between 2am and 4am. They have a burger with grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. Everything is massive and the portions are huge. Just don't go before 2am or you might be disappointed. Everything is pretty generic really.

This one-of-a-kind downtown Eatery is by far hard to beat. It's got great food great atmosphere and it's open late, so for those great nights when you're out with your friends and it's 4 a.m. you can still get great food. Stop in at Richards and enjoy a casual and fun filled evening and morning.

Looked over the menu for a while then saw the daily special for Wednesday of roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. I hadn't had that for a long time, tried it, loved it!

I love this bar/restaurant. It is a unique little place below the street. Reminds you of Cheers lol. I'm sure they hear that a lot. We ordered steaks and they were perfect. The staff was very friendly and attentive. This is definitely a must see in Peoria.

I came to Peoria to visit my best friend who recently relocated. We went to a college basketball game, then a restaurant (I won't mention the name). We sat in the restaurant for over half an hour, where we were never acknowledged. Ever. My friend eventually went to the bar, where she was ignored for over 5 minutes. Keep in... More

So I live in Boston and had a deja vu walking down the stairs, like going to the bull and finch ( the original cheers). They had a good selection of beers and Guinness on tap so I was happy. Then I saw some of the food coming out....wow! The most delicious comfort foods and bar food you could want.... More

There are only a couple of restaurants open in downtown Peoria on a Sunday evening. Our hotel recommend Richards and it was great. You head down a flight of stairs into a "hip" basement bar and dining area. There open until 3AM(?) every night and I imagine it gets a really good bar crowd. On Sunday, it was just us... More

I always wanted to try Richards. The location is pretty cool and I was not prepared for how big it turned out to be. Great bar scene and good pizza!

Richard's on Main is an underground restaurant, literally. Food was good, beer selection was good and seasonal, and the atmosphere was cool. Service was great also. Good place to hang with friends or coworkers.
