We stopped in here on our way east to Pennsylvania and again on our way home. The first visit was for a late afternoon meal. The second was for breakfast. The Powhaten has a rustic feel to its décor and it's a nice change. The portions hare huge! The price paid is most reasonable. The service was fast and friendly.... More

Food is good, portions are huge, and the staff is generally very friendly. Excellent breakfasts served all day. Can be a bit noisy and crowded during peak times, and crying kids do detract. Also, no plastic accepted (but they do have an ATM). But you won't go away hungry!

Was in from out of town and not familiar with the area, but heard good things about their food. Went with a group of about 10 people and the service was great. Food was also pretty good. The onion rings are amazing! Would definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Probably the best eggs Benedict I've had. And the reason I'll be back to stay a night at the hotel. We even had complications on MY END with the booking and they called me shortly after to make sure i WAS still arriving. Fantastic people!

While traveling to Baltimore MD, It was getting late and I stopped at the Powhaten motel and in the parking lot was the Powhaten Restaurant. Before checking into the motel I had dinner. Chopped Sirloin steak. (Hamburger Steak) Held the gravy so I could add 57 on top of the mushrooms and onion's. Putting it simple it was great. Baked... More

The Powhaten is a kinda family/trucker style restaurant. The service is always good and so is the food. The portions are large& the prices are very reasonable. My favorite is the fried fish. They have video gaming and a mom & pop hotel. There's also a real nice indoor shooting range pretty much across the street if you're looking for... More

Awesome cheesy potatoes, Great big plate of southern comfort. Loved there food. They also had video gaming which some people in our wedding group liked to use. Everything we ate was delicious.

Our lunch was a couple of sandwiches that were almost too greasy to eat. Their only claim to fame was the home town of Gretchin Wilson, the Red Neck woman, we could imagine that it is a place only she could love.
