We were passing through Rock Falls and needed a little something for lunch. The deli proved to be a perfect place to stop. The restaurant is very clean and cheery with a wonderful selection of fresh, appealing items. I had a tasty bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup; my husband had soup and a ready-made container of potato salad. Workers... More

On the road we happened to find Arthur's, a welcome change to the chain deli's. Service was very friendly and helpful. The place is an old 50's looking building nicely maintained with some quirky spots. The center of the diner has a small salad bar. we went for the soup and sandwich combination which was generous and fresh. Lots to... More

Arthur's Deli has 4 places in W Ill. This a good deli shop with a small salad bar and soups as well. Quality meats and cheeses. The only drawback would b they only offer a 4" round or 7" roll no 12" to share or for the extra hungry person. A solid sub way above the norm(Subway,Jimmy John's) however u... More

Looking for a Subway substitute? This is it!! Awesome handmade sandwiches and homemade salads! Always good, whether lunch or supper. We prefer Sterling location (closest) but same good food in Rock Falls.

The salad bar has a nice, if small, selection of foods but the bowl that they give you is tiny. A plate would allow one to arrange the ingredients attractively. Soups are often creamy and not good for those with lactose intolerance. Pasta salads are competent if not extraordinary. Quiches are reasonably good. Sandwiches tend to be large and interesting,... My wife and I stopped for lunch here while driving to Chicago on I-88. The restaurant looked interesting compared to the McDonalds, Burger King, and Arbys nearby. It is a small somewhat funky place. Our made-to-order corned beef with cheese sandwich and chicken salad sandwich were tasty. Prices very reasonable.

Love Art's Deli! Small place and is always packed but we order carry out from here. They have a small salad buffet area. Everything is made fresh when you order and a lot if homemade. Very good food.

Wife and I stop for sandwiches and sometimes salad and soup. Food is always consistent. You need to be aware that because it is trendy, the prices are not cheap. It usually costs about $20.00 for one large and one small sandwich with one drink. Sometimes the staff spends too much time talking to one another than taking care of... More

Rock Falls Arthur's is good. It is small and packed over the lunch hour. Not as much meat on the sandwiches as there used to be, but still good. There is also a small but stocked salad bar.
