Small joint type of atmosphere. Large menu. Husband and I had pulled pork sandwich and pulled chicken sandwich both with shredded onion rings. Everything was really good we will come back again. They had kids menu, some beer, wraps ,a couple soups, various sandwiches even bison burger. French fries are freshly cut potatoes not frozen.

If u have time to wait this place is unique. It is located in a strip mall next to a furniture store. The food is decent. The menu is large. Would go back.

This place has it all...Fresh cut fries are hard to find and I will be eating here again thats for sure. The board on the wall everthing they have to offer for their menu. These are some of the hardest working people I have ever seen.

I stopped here for lunch traveling old Route 66. They claim that they are known for their pulled pork and I was surprised, it was really quite good. The BBQ sauce exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend eating here! The only disappointment for me personally was no staff personnel seemed happy to see me or greeted me. Their slogan is... More

We live in Arizona, but when we are visiting family about 20 miles away, we make it a point to come here for lunch! Atmosphere, cute, menu variety, EVERYTHING from burgers to fish to hot dogs, etc. Price vs quality, off the charts! Pictured are the Rueban and pork tenderloin.

We stopped on a Sunday afternoon for lunch after hiking at Midewin. Everyone enjoyed their food, from burgers to wraps. The sides of fries, onion rings and fried mushrooms were excellent. The kids enjoyed writing their names on the ceiling with the ladder supplied for this purpose! Would return again.

Sign the wall, sign the ceiling and place your order at the counter after drooling over the enormous colorful chalk wall menu--hot dogs, sausage, brats, pulled pork, burgers etcetera. The burgers and fries are delicious here--you can do a plain burger with cheddar like I did, or a country burger with egg, cheese, sausage and mushrooms like my husband did.... More

We stopped for lunch after a bike ride around Midewin Tallgrass Prairie. Their menu is written on a chalkboard on the wall. We got there at 11:30 and waited in line for about 10 mins. Enough time to read the menu and know what we wanted. We ordered at the counter and sat down. Food was delivered to our table... More

After reading the reviews, I expected more. Rueben sandwich had ample meat, but NO SAUERKRAUT (was told by staff "we don't have sauerkraut"), and absolutely drenched in 1000 island dressing. It ain't a rueben without sauerkraut! Fair. Caesar salad was a sopping mess. The lettuce was in recognizable, like it was made three days ago. Terrible! The fries were cold... More

I'm sorry your did not see on our menu board that our Rueben's are called a specific name "Nelly's Rueben" for a simple reason, they come with grilled onions not sauerkraut. It is noted on the menu as such. As for your Caesar salad, they are made with dressing on it. You can always ask to have dressing on the... More
