Salad bar and steaks were great. Good atmosphere. We were driving by and stopped in for lunch on a Saturday.

I've always lived in this area and was never a fan of the Beef House, although everyone alway raved about it. I decided to take my wife there for our thirdieth anniversary and it was just as i remembered, over rated! My Steak was not nearly as good as you could get for half the price at Texas Road House... We have eaten here numerous times, always with complete satisfaction. Granted, the water can taste a little "off" sometimes but don't let that keep you away. The food is simply "Imperial", outstanding and delicious. Free dessert if it's your birthday. If you've never been here, treat yourself and your family. You'll love it!!
When traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana I always try to stop either on my way or when headed home. My visits at the Beef house started as a child with my parents, but mostly dad and the memories are simply wonderful as is the food. The steaks here are second to none and there pork chop is to die for, the... More
We were seated in the bigger barn like room for a birthday celebration and the water tasted horrible - like rusty well water. Complaining to the waitress got no help and we seriously had to go to the other side of the restaurant and ask for fresh water from them. The food was unappetizing - the Sunday specials looked like... More
My $28 petite filet was luke warm with no flavor. I had to add steak sauce. You should never do that on a well seasoned piece of meat. My potato was barely warm said well. My husband's ribeye poorly cooked with no search or flavor. Plus, the server brought his steak and said the broccoli wasn't ready yet. He was... More
Nothing to complain about. Food, service, and restaurant was excellent. Kind of a long drive for us (two hours each way), but definitely worth it. Good if you are traveling and want to stop for something other than McDonalds. Two of us had ribeye steaks. You get a choice of sizes, the biggest being 20 oz. The other two in... More
We did a date night here with another couple and I had always heard about it. Advice: go early! Although the line goes quickly and there is a lot of room, it's very popular. The food is filling, comforting, and delicious. The only negative I had was that I had ordered medium rare on a filet and got medium raw.
The first time I came here was in the early 1990's and it was a great place. Ask for the steak to be seasoned and you'll be pleasantly surprised. The last time I was here was just this past August and It was decent then. Unfortunately, I went there today with my daughter and my wife-it was not good at... More
Over the years I have spent many celebratory dinners at the Beef House. I've always looked forward to going there but after our meal last Sunday I'm not going back. It was my birthday and we had a party of ten. We arrived at about 12:45 and were seated in the annex area at the long tables and what I... More
