First of all, the Penne Alfredo was great. Very rich Alfredo sauce. The service was spotty, though. Took a long time to take my order, which is a killer if you are on lunch hour from work. Once I mentioned it, the server started to speed things up. I was also disappointed to find out there were lunch specials. I... More

Visited in the evening before a show at the beautiful restored Lerner Theatre. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of time to dine and enjoy an evening out with friends

Had higher expectations for this place. Service was really slow. Atmosphere was okay though there was a really leaky air conditioning unit that was dripping water into buckets. Sauce had a good flavor but chicken was overcooked and barely edible.

Great local venue. Offers outdoor seating in season. Super salads, good steaks and fish. Good wine list.

I've made The Vine a regular lunch place because of the variety. Several menu selections give me the flexibility of eating light or savoring some of the more indulgent dishes. Then - the staff: wonderfully friendly and attentive. I've had lunch meetings for business at The Vine, met people there after work, enjoyed dates with my wife and experienced group... More

Ate there this evening with friends. One of them got a big black hair on their lemon for their lemon water. This is what I got: I ordered the bowtie pasta with shrimp and alfredo sauce. $18 for 5 shrimp and a plate of oil. If this is how you define alfredo then you need a new cooking dictionary. I... This is an old building with the original hardwood creaky floors. The food is good and I have always had good service. Sure, if the place is packed, it takes a little longer. If taking a little longer is not time conducive to your schedule, there is a McDonalds just down the street. I usually get Mary's Garbage salad with... More

I was taken to this restaurant by my host, and was not sure what it would be like. Nice downtown area and restaurant. Service was excellent, and the food was great. Definitely a keeper.

The Vine is one of those places that isn't always consistent with food or service. One one visit, you might have an excellent experience, the next time not so great. The Garbage Salad is always good, but I have had mixed experiences with the meat dishes.

I ate in the patio at The Vine on a busy Thursday night (it was the Art Walk Event)and the staff was very friendly, attentive, and the food was good. I am surprised at some of the bad reviews. My entrees was good and my too side dishes were excellent. I am a nerd to rave about green beans ...... More
