I have been to Bourbon Street Hideaway 3 times and all 3 times have been wonderful. I love the cozy 'hidden away' atmosphere, I've had stellar service each time, excellent martinis, and the food has always been delicious. I love this restaurant and it has become my favorite in Fort wayne.

First time in the restaurant. Being a huge fan of New Orleans, I was expecting a lot and they delivered. The ambiance of the place took me straight back to NOLA. Complete with decor and music. It was only missing the odors of the street! Small quaint place. We had the lettuce wedge with our meal. It was delicious but... More

Ok, that's a somewhat obscure Jimmy Buffett song reference, but Bourbon Street Hideaway does indeed have gumbo, and it is the best (only?) gumbo in town. The crab-stuffed shrimp was also very good, as was the chocolate cheesecake (to go). The restaurant is in the basement of C-Street, and it's only open Thur-Fri-Sat nights. It's a small place styled in... More

Fun food and cocktails. Small place no view due to it being a basement. Nice for a romantic dinner. Craft cocktails and gumbo are standouts.

This was our second trip to the restaurant, our first visit was a few years ago; we brought our extended family this time and had an amazing experience. Everything about the food is great, from the flavor to the presentation. Even the bread they serve you is memorable. The waitstaff is well trained and eager to help you answer questions... More

I nearly failed the mission on Valentine's Day.. I waited too long to make reservations, but was able to get in at the Bourbon Street Hideaway for an early dinner. We are so glad it turned out that way. We were lucky enough to park curbside, pretty much at the entrance. Down the steps we went and found a cozy,... More

Two of us dined on a Friday evening and one had the alligator gumbo, which we wish they offered alligator in different forms (maybe grilled). It was just o.k. The rib-eye steak was ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. I asked for horseradish sauce and was halfway through the steak before I received it. I also asked for... More

Bourbon Street is an expected gem. It is tucked away underneath another place. The atmosphere was great, lots of New Orleans items around. It is a very small quaint restaurant. Be prepared for life to slow down a little and enjoy the experience. You can color on the table clothes to pass the time. Our food was amazing. We tried... More

The ambiance of the room and the quaint charm...just pulled you in and from there it lovely. The service was terrific and attentive, the food was fantastic. I loved the history of the restaurant. All in... More

This restaurant is hidden below the Columbia Street West tavern. It's decor is from the French Quarter and the menu is GREAT!!! I love the Crawfish Etoufee. It's a small restaurant, seats maybe 40. The food, service and bar are all wonderful!
