We've been coming here since High School (45 years) and still as good as ever. The Chili outstanding, Burgers & Fries excellent, don't forget seafood too. Pies are to die for and soda fountain still has my favorite, Cherry Coke. It's an All American Diner!!

For the first time, my trip advisor reviews failed me. I was told that the food was good and the pie was even better and I found neither to be true😔

It's a nice place and food was above average but not fabulous. I did enjoy the diner atmosphere. Old school throwback and you can watch your food being made. I had Philly cheesesteak with shoestring fries. Bread was soft but had a slight crunch inside. Juicy meat but again great not fabulous. Green river drink was good but I could... More

Visited South Side Soda Shop for a late lunch on a Saturday. As others have noted the parking is either on the street or in a parking lot for a school across the street. The place has the ambience of an old time diner. The front "room" is like an old rail car with booths on both sides. It is... More

Saw this place on the Food Network, and having relatives fairly nearby, had to stop in. And it was worth it. The food was great, and the pies are out of this world. Will definitely be back when in the area. Heck, I would travel here just for dessert! Nice people too. We came in the middle of the afternoon,... More

Throwback diner with a 50s feel. All the traditional diner foods are there, but what sets this place apart is the home baked pies and the daily gourmet seafood and other specials. I highly recommend the turtle soup. Featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

Went to this place cause it popped up on my places to visit in northern Indiana. The food was extremely good, the wait staff was great, and they make an awesome milkshake.

As a Goshen local I can say that this is one place I always recommend to out-of-towners, if you will. I do always make sure that they aren't picky though. The food is good, fresh, but the service is something to work on. Most of the waitresses are younger/high school age which seems to make for more chit chat and... More

They had a lot of fried and greesy food but it was really REALLY good. The dinner was a bit dark and dated. If you sit at the counter you can watch your food being made
