Hard to find this wonderful little restaurant. Our breakfast was wonderful! Huge portions, delicious, good price, friendly staff. Place was packed. Could tell lots of locals come here, staff chatting with them and making you feel welcome and glad you came. The flavor of the food was so good compared to the big chain restaurants. If they were located in... More

You could get a similar menu at Cracker Barrel restaurant but if you want a local version near SR 26 and I-65 behind the Mobile gas station you'll find a food not decor diner that could suit. My meal was beer battered fish, fries, mixed vegetables, apple salad and chocolate mouse pie. The fish and fries were excellent, the rest... More

Great homemade food... biscuits, oatmeal, etc. Hidden amidst the large chains. I'd choose this place any day. Driving down 65, lick find for breakfast. A+

This is one of our favorites to have breakfast. The food is good and being family owned makes it a worth while try. It is clean, the food is good and hot. They have added on to the building and they have been there for 7 yrs. Try it you won't be disappointed.

I live in Lafayette and have been here several times. They've recently added on. I've always had good service and good food. Support local and try it.

We decided to stop here rather than the neighboring chains. Glad we did. It's a small, locally owned cafe. Food was good (we had breakfast fare) and the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was fast, attentive, and accurate. The seating area is small so I can see how it would fill up fast, but I feel that is part... More

I have eaten here about 8 times in the past few years and it has never disappointed me. Country Cafe is an example of how a local operation can survive in a market surrounded by chain operations. By having good food, friendly service and great prices it is easy to choose it over the Denny's, IHop, Bob Evans, etc that... More

Place is way too small. Not enough wait staff. My order was wrong. Waitress was so busy so I sat 5 minutes waiting to get her attention. Kid's chicken strips were good. My husband liked his biscuits and gravy. Bathrooms were disgusting. Reminds me of an old gas station bathroom.

Parking is a pain. Hard to get in or out of. Too many tables for the space. Restaurant is to small for the number of tables. Menu is not planed out very well. Not very handicapped accessible. If you have more than 6 people it overwilms them. It is in the old kfc restaurant location. People can't sit with out... More

This is a small family style restaurant and every time we visit, we find good food, high quality, and excellent service at a very reasonable price. Informal dining
