Great place to day drink! Great bands in the summer on the roof top. Waitresses are spot on. Make sure you try a VooDoo bucket. You can thank me later!

Enjoyed lunch at the inside bar area.here recently. Lots of seating both at the bar and tables. Our waitress (Lisa) was very friendly and did a great job of serving us. Food was prepared in a timely manner and we really enjoyed it. Will return again.

Having been to this locale before when it was more of a dive bar than a restaurant, I thought for a minute it hadn't changed- when you enter near the bar area, it reeks of smoke. But once you escape into the newer dining area, it is as if you are in a different place. It was near empty because... More

We made reservations for a party of 10. When we arrived the bar area was dead. We were seated in the bar area. One person received their martini. The beers and other martinis came about 20 minutes later after asking the waitress about our drinks. The staff seemed really confused and not all that busy. The food was and drink... More

The food at Matey's is top quality, but the staff is terrible. Sat for half an hour and got no service. It was the first and last visit for my husband. Super disappointed.

Don't bother with this one. You'll be better off going anywhere else to eat or drink! We came in (party of 5) and and was practically told that this wasn't a family restaurant that you had to be 21. Ok.. there were 4 adults and a 1 year old in our party.. There were no patrons in the establishment on... More

Hidden surprise. Dining inside and on deck which is right on lake Michigan. Casual dining. Also have tiki outdoor bar. Have a sandbox and small playground for young children. Dogs are welcome. Also have a sand volleyball court on the property as well.

The views from the patio are wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly. Prices are on the expensive side but you have to pay for the views.

My chicken sandwich was awful, it tasted like rubber. I took two bites and was done. My impression is it is good place to get a drink but I don't recommend eating there.

If you have kids don't bother stopping by. This could be a fun place for everyone but we were treated a bit strange when we walked in the dinning room then told to go to the top deck but the gate was locked. Not a place I'd try again. Too bad
