We had a group of 8 try Darlene's for dinner. Although it was a Saturday evening, it was not very busy. I'm not sure if it was the kitchen or having only 1 server but it was very slow. Too long for the smaller children in the group. All of the different menu items we tried were good. A fish... More

How great to be able to walk outside our room and find the restaurant just across the grounds, upstairs. Food reasonable and tastey.

WE love Darlene's! The service is always friendly and prompt. We enjoy the bar setting and there is always interesting conversation in a quiet, but not boring, atmosphere. The first night we had grilled salmon, which was very good. The second night we had burgers. One of the best burgers I have ever had. The French Onion soup is fantastic!

We were looking for some place special to celebrate two birthdays. Darlene's was the right choice. Beautiful dining room, good drinks and outstanding food. Our wives even got to select desserts off the menu for their birthday. Everything was wonderful and if in the area again will definitely eat there again.

Do not miss out on this gem of a restaurant!!! The food was excellent! Their French Onion Soup is the BEST I have ever eaten. I wish I could duplicate their recipe at home!!!! I had steak and my friends had pasta. We were all pleased with our meals. Reasonable pricing. A 12oz Ribeye (I think mine was bigger) is... More

We ate here because we heard that the fried chicken was good. This is a historic property with an interesting past. All of the baked goods are homemade [bread and dessert]. They are famous for the biscuits and apple butter.
