We ate dinner at Denny's in Portage on October 8th with a little apprehension as we had bad experiences at Denny's in other locations. We were pleasantly surprised by both a good, reasonably priced meal and great service. Our server was attentive and the meals were presented at the proper temperature and very promptly.
was not able to handle bus of 34 people was very unorganized ordering took forever and orders were mixed up took almost 2 hrs to get everyone their meals and some ended up with theirs as a takeout.
I believe Denny's is trying to make a come back and I am very happy to report it is working. They have gotten a bad rap the past few years and rightly so, but I think they are headed in the right direction. I ordered the pancakes and they were great, and I had 2 eggs and sausage to go... More
We went to Denny's for the 1.99 grand slam special.. That's good but wait you have to order a drink. One glass of orange juice 2.55. Humm now we Are up to 4.54.. Not so special now. Pancakes .. Two small eggs and 2 pieces of bacon... Not the best ...
Got in to town late no place open and the staff was super . had our food ready super fast so I could get kids to bed . 5 star service and food was very good as well .
