The Pub is fine, but pretty standard. Good food and drinks, you have to wait awhile though if they get busy. The other patrons were really friendly and everyone seemed to be having a good time. As an out of towner it's always fun to mingle and meet new people, and this is a good place to do so.

Needed an infusion of bangers and mash, was more than satisfied with the food. The four sausages paired well with the potato's and the stout sauce was outstanding. They know how to properly pour a Guinness here, loved the other choices of food on the menu.

Stopped in for an early dinner and was seated quickly. Wait staff was very attentive and food was good. They have the usual burgers, sandwiches, irish dishes and a few other american entrees. A good place to stop for Irish whiskey varieties and beer or just to grab a bite with the family.

This place being next to Notre Dame is somewhat of a college age hub. We were of the grandparent age, but still enjoyed it. I had the Shepherds Pie and it was wonderful. If you love mashed potatoes, be sure to get this. My husband had the corned beef and cabbage and it was excellent as well. I was impressed... More

Could have been at better place on St. Patrick's Day. O'Rourke's is across the street from the University of Notre Dame. Fantastic atmosphere, great food and the service was top notch. We went in with 14 hockey players and 30 parents. They had us in our own room with two dedicated servers and just killed it! Can't wait to get... More

I've eaten here before and had good food. This last trip was pretty bad. Tried to go for lunch and sit outside on a nice spring day. Waited forever at the hostess stand only to be eventually greeted by a bartender yelling across the restaurant at us. Made our way outside and sat there for a while. Never got a... More

If you like loud and crowded, this is the place. Met some friends there twice and dined both times. Food fair to average, wait staff slow. Enjoyed the company of friends though.

We were in town for ND hockey and noticed this area close to campus. Nicely developed area. Stopped in for lunch There is a lot of room and has a good atmosphere. We chose to sit outside and people watch. Service wasn't quick, but our server was friendly and we got everything we asked for. I had the fish pubwich,... More

Went there for dinner before basketball game. We ordered as soon as the waitress came to our table. Took at least 20 minutes just to get our water. When our food came 50 minutes after we ordered, two of the four orders were wrong. Because of time constraints we couldn't wait another hour for the correct orders. We were also... More

After a recent basketball game, a few of us decided to have lunch at O'Rourkes. Sandwiches were the deal - pulled pork, fish, and grilled cheese. We also had salads and soup. All the items were good and the server was also attentive.
