watch your receipts . they gave us a partially wrong order, and then forgot to give us one roll we ordered. When we received the bill it added dessert ( that we did not order) and were told the incorrect roll we receive was much more expensive than what we ordered, so they charged us for ice cream 5.plus charged... I have stopped here for lunch numerous times, and have always found the food both appetizing and delicious. They have both "lunch specials" and sushi to satisfy most cravings.

I love sushi and the sushi I had for dinner at Koreana is, quite simply, some of the best I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh and in combinations that contained amazing flavors. As I neared the end of the meal I felt regret that the experience had to come to an end. I also ordered Jasmine tea, which was... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in downtown Decorah. I ordered Miso Soup and Squid Salad. The soup was average, but the salad was very good and beautifully presented. My husband, ordered Spicy Pork Bulgoki, which he liked very much. It had too many onions for me, but he enjoyed it. The menu is a combination of Japanese,... More

Loved the deep fried roll that we had! Our second roll (the holy moly) was also good and came on a flaming plate of vodka which was entertaining. Points off for the spicy tuna roll as it was almost too spicy for me to eat, and I can handle a good amount of heat. I would give a 3.5 if... More

Two daughters were home visiting recently so we decided to go to Koreana for lunch. Service was good and the food was too. My daughters has some sushi and my wife and I split a chicken dish. Our salads were very fresh and colorful. Only drawback was they do not have the "box" lunch specials on Saturday and that was... More

My wife and I stopped at Koreana in April of 2016. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife and I purchased 4 rolls, including one that was battered and fried whole. It was a religious experience... Anyways, for NE IA, the ingredients were as good as I've had in the midwest and the flavors were... More

We ate here for Saturday lunch. Our food was good. I had the green curry beef. The side salad that came with the dinners was also excellent. However, we were disappointed in our overall experience. The lunch menu is only available Monday through Friday. In a small town in Iowa, this didn't really seem appropriate. So we ended up spending... More

I thoroughly enjoyed a lunch of maki rolls and seaweed salad. The space is attractive, the preparation careful and fresh. All is a welcome surprise in the small town of Decorah, Iowa.
