My favorite Italian restaurant in Iowa City, this small Bistro with just two rows of tables and booths requires reservations most nights. Food is unique, wine list is huge, and I've been pleased with every dinner.
I am still thinking about the pasta they served here! Even our son's spaghetti with meatballs dish was amazing- the sauce/noodles were incredibly flavorful. I had a delicious ravioli dish while my husband had the salmon. It is a small/intimate venue. I haven't had pasta...More
Small intimate restaurant. Very good authentic cuisine. Insalata polpito...octopus perfect and the warm potato and carrots was perfect with the pesto vinaigrette...fettuccine maiale e porcini (pork and porcini mushrooms) in a Parmesan cream sauce. Delicious meal

I try to delay my reviews when I have bad experiences to allow things to settle a little and provide a the best review as I can and, in general, I do not write really bad reviews. In this case, even after months, I still...More
