I went to Atlas for lunch with coworkers during the week while driving through town. There was no wait for a table. Our server was prompt and accurate. The food was fantastic. I ordered the black bean falafel burger. I wished it were a little less thick since it was semi-difficult to eat, but it tasted so good that I... More

I've enjoyed eating at Atlas for lunches and evening dinners. It's a great place to celebrate special days and to enjoy great Midwestern food.

First and foremost, try The Atlas Burger- excellent beef and they add stringed onions on top. I cannot get enough of this burger, and their French fries just add to the robust flavor this burger has to offer. Second, the burritos are crap, they add a "Yukon potato purée" which consists of half the damn burrito. I feel like I... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way through Iowa City. The food was amazing! We sat in the back room off the bar and it was pleasant. I had the Farm Plate Pilaf and it was a big plate of beautiful food! (Roasted Carrots, Beets and Mushrooms over grains and pasta with a Beet dressing and Fried Oyster Mushrooms)... More

This is a place with fine-dining prices, a mostly fine-dining menu, and some seating in the bar area that is too crowded and noisy. I wouldn't return during peak times. The menu is full of interesting-sounding dishes, but my experience with pretentious menus is that the food often sucks. I ordered the gourmet mac and cheese out of fear. It... More

Nice mid-market restaurant in the downtown area. Staff were friendly and a menu with plenty of options. Child friendly as well. Tables are a little close together but we still managed to get a pushchair next to the table.

We are accustomed to nice restaurants. For my husband's 61st birthday we went to the Atlas Grill, and unfortunately we were disappointed. Seating was in the basement next to the high chair storage area, with gnats on the menu. We had a rather expensive dinner, my husband getting the steak which was severely overly peppered which masked the steak flavor.... More

I liked that the menu had unique items on it . I had the half thai burrito and tomato basil soup. While I wouldn't go with that particular burrito again, it was definitely the best tomato soup I've had. Family loved the burgers.

We visited this past Saturday, around 5:30pm. Our group had reservations and our table in the back room was ready for us when we arrived. Our server was wonderful! She took very good care of our group. I ordered my old favorite, the Atlas Burger. Ordered it medium rare. And it was done up right. It was delicious as always.... More

Everyone hyped up this place for me, especially when they talked about their "famous" Buffalo chicken burritos. Fine, it's a cool concept but definitely not worth it. The other food was alright but nothing special.

Thank Youssef S
