Good food at a reasonable price. Not fancy but down home. We usually stop at 4th Street Cafe when we come to Keokuk twice a year.

Like stepping back in time. Half a block off the main drag, this little cafe served a nice lunch one Saturday. Pork sandwich was very good, as was the roast beef and mashed potatos. Cake was tempting but too full.
The food, basic American fare, was quite good. It seemed a little low-staffed, or maybe it was just the server we had that didn't seem too happy with her job... But the price was good.
