Stopped here for lunch on a mountain bike ride and sat outside in the lovely space provided. The old hotel is a cool attraction in itself snd the food was really good!

An enjoyable lunch today, a massive delicious steak sandwich. A selection of craft beer hard to choose and a cosy fire. Worth a look!!

The Weldborough Hotel is well worth the drive. We had taken sandwiches for lunch so did not require any food. But my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed their beer tasting.

Camping in Derby had been told this was a good place to go for a meal as little evening options in Derby. Would agree after having well presented and nicely cooked food. The only down, one of our group had to wait for their meal as it seemed to have been overlooked but that didn't take too long.

This pub is under new management, and used to be full of character, old wooden floors, mellow walls etc. Now it is painted bright white all over, and the floors are shiny and yellow, they look new! Maybe people like that sort of thing ... The food was ok, though no better than previously. The service was friendly, and the... More

We possibly had different expectations than what was delivered. With many beers on offer we thought we may be able to get a tasting paddle. Not so! We stayed in the campground at the back of the pub but with no power, TV reception or phone reception we thought $10 per person per night was too much.

I stopped here for Lunch in 2010 and loved the rustic old feel and the food was good. this time I stopped by for lunch and the place had been hit with White paint and the only thing on the menu was an unattractive BBQ rissole menu, it appears it has resorted to trying to be hip and trendy rather... Some friends and I booked rooms after the weather turned bad. We originally had planned to camp out the back of the pub. Beers were very good but expensive ranging from $9-$11 but food and service was excellent. We would stay again for a camp, will be eating at the pub again - but will will be bring our own... More

My wife and I stopped at the Weldborough Hotel for lunch and it was amazing. We had a beef and chicken burger and their range of Tasmanian craft beers and ciders is fantastic! I had an Iron House Brewery Milk Stout which matched my mouth watering burger easily. The only drama was that I was driving and couldn't squeeze another... More

Heard about this place as an "unoffocial cellar door to every craft beer in Tasmania" from a guide book. That seemed a little over boisterous in the end...the selection was above average but we found many more elsewhere. Still...good food, lovely beer garden and super friendly service so its worth a vist if you are nearby.
