Located within Kinabalu national park. Has long opening hours. A few steps walk from the hill lodges. Nice ambience with a ncie fireplace, the verandah a bit chilly but lovely green surroundings. Food was well presented and of fairly good taste. Good place to relax

We had our American breakfast here this morning. Good portion but I must say the meat was a bit greasy. Nice ambiance and super clean toilet. Will visit again when in Kundasang.

Nice restaurant to dine in! Loved their hot chocolate (you can ask for less sweet as it comes with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle) and must order is the Teh Tarik! Absolute favourite too.. (tip: try asking for Masidi Teh Tarik, it’s special with cinnamon)...Food was yummy. I enjoyed my big bowl of Tom yam seafood soup with white rice - comfort food for a chilly night! Dwinah and team were very attentive and friendly. Recommended!More

Food was good, prices reasonable, service good but ambience was unbeatable. Try the beef burger (avoid the chicken version) and the local dishes - the curry laksa was delicious and the mee goreng was also good. Because of the cool weather it seems like the...perfect place for hot chocolate, but it turned out their hot Milo and Horlicks was better.More

This is our first time stay in Kinabalu Park. Love everything here. Did not have dinner at Liwagu Restaurant. Only Waffle with Ice Cream, Tropical fruits and French Fries. Lovely ambience

The location of the restaurant is quite mind blowing! They have built it fairly deep inside the Kinabalu Park. Easily accessible by driving but could be confusing with the exact signage to lead to the carpark of this restaurant/hotel. Ticketing lady at the front did...a bad job in explaining the route to the restaurant. About the restaurant: 1.) Food Quality and the whole menu is decent. Though the only feedback for the chef is that, since, the price range could be one of the highest in Kundasang/Ranau region, healthy ingredients and condiments for the foods, should be readily available. 2.) Service is top notch but lacks interaction and engagement from anyone in the restaurant even during non busy hours. 3.) Beautiful ambience with fire place in the middle of the restaurant. I’m sure this restaurant is some kind of administrative office for our colonial masters back then. The architecture and finer details, explains the presence of old English flair. Trying going on the colder or raining day, the passing mists and fogs in the midst of the forest and the terrace of this restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. 4.) Alcohol and beverage could be expensive and one hot chocolate that wife ordered is not hot enough either. All these could be improved. Overall I would be back if I have the chance. Great place with plenty of character!More

A great place to have meal overlooking the great nature. Excellent customer service, all the waiters and waitresses are friendly. Only downside is limited choices of food. Overall food is 4.0/5.0.

Food is well suited for the western palate. We had French toast, banana waffles, American breakfast and dim sum. The western food choices was good. Dim sum below expectations. We enjoyed the experience of dining outdoors amongst the chirping birds and in the cool weather...of Kinabalu park. Would recommend for the experience and likely the best breakfast in kundasang.More

Average buffet fare. Drinks were served at your table but it took ages to pay for them. I suspect a lot of tour companies use this restaurant so they had us in and out fairly quickly.

Everything was so so only. The only possibly think we enjoyed as a family was the banana split. LoL.
