There are plenty of choices for Chinese Muslims food. The service was good. the toilet is extremely clean and there is a laundromat next to this restaurant.
The price is affordable too. The surrounding area is clean too.
We dropped by during lunch hour on a weekday so there's not many people. The waiters are friendly and the service is fast. We ordered tomyam, butter chicken, Japanese tofu and vegetables for only rm50. All the menu are so good. Highly recommended 👍👍👍
Visited in the evening. Restaurant was quite full. Had to wait nearly an hour for the food. Food was good and price very reasonable - only problem was the slow service - twice we were told that what we had ordered had run out and...we had to reorder.More
If you are looking for varieties this is a reasonable place to dine. After several days in Sabah, my friend were specifically looking for something spicy like Tom Yum and after days of not having a proper malay meal, this restaurant satisfied our cravings. We...had mixed Tom Yum, Omelettes, Fried Baby Kailan with prawns and Soft Tofu with diced chicken. The food were tasty. The only set back was that the Tom Yum, although the soup was very tasty was not much main elements in it. It was a lot of soup for not of much seafood.
Nevertheless, the entire meal we had was cheap. With drinks, rice and 4 main dishes, cost us about RM32.00 .
The place is pretty spacious and comfortable with ample parking area. There is a prayer room for the Muslims too which is very convenient if you are travelling. From the Kundasang centre, it is just 5 minutes drive away heading towards the KK trunk road.More
We had breakfast here, plenty to choose from the menu, maybe a too many to choose from. The moment we arrived we knew cleanliness wasn't their top priority but due to the lack on restaurants in the area, we weren't going to waste our time...looking for an alternative. Breakfasts was OK, on par with other roadside restaurants elsewhere. We thought we would give them a try for our supper. How wrong were we, we ended waiting over an hour after our orders were taken, which in our opinion were simple enough orders, before we decided to give up and walk away. They weren't that busy, they were plenty of vacant dining tables and chairs but they just couldn't cope with the demands. Upon enquiring, the big boss lady simply said they have forgotten us, at least she was honest but unfortunately our drinks weren't on the house. Need I say, please steer clear of this place if you dont like flies, insects and bugs all over you and your meal, we didn't mind too much as it is kind of expected from a typical roadside restaurant. Also be prepare to have the waiter/waitress to be standing next to you while you peruse over what appears to be hundreds to choose from the menu, without giving you sufficient time to think. On the plus side, their price were reasonable and the meals comes in huge portions, apparently it is quite normal, double the usual amount compared to what you would get back in the Peninsula. We were told it is because the locals needed the massive portions to make up for big climbs over the mountain, although these days their pick up trucks does all the hard work! Going back to the restaurant, we found the best restaurant in Kundasang, without going down the beaten tracks is in Kinabalu Pine Resort, a little pricey and not perfect but it was a good found nevertheless.More
