Tried the go here in the middle of the day on a Saturday but they were closed. The sign on the door said they would reopen in the spring along with a sign to deliver packages to a nearby business.

I know it's a 100 year old man working there, but, seriously, waited 30 minutes for an ice cream. There were 4 people before us and we had to go. Another appointment. Disappointed.

Yes, the Wilton Candy Kitchen is an historic building with a lot of tradition. But the nostalgia took us just so far. The owners came in an opened up as we waited. Our entire time was dominated by the husband owner using expletives in every sentence. After a while it just got old. Bottom line: we will never go back.

Took our friends from San Francisco to see the Candy Kitchen after the Founder's Day parade. We thought we'd go in for an ice cream or some candy. I had to use the rest room and our friend wanted to rinse off his hands. While in using the rest room the owner slapped an "Out Of Order" sign on the... More

A visit to the Wilton Candy Kitchen is a trip back in time! The ice cream is all homemade by the owner, and you will usually find both the owner and his wife at the Kitchen! He also makes some good homemade candy! The old-fashioned soda fountain is just as pictured in movies, and their story on the menu is... More

A must see place if you're in the Wilton area. Memorabilia galore and most likely you'll have a chance to hear a story or two from George or Thelma themselves. Don't forget to get some homemade ice cream!

What a real treasure this place is!!! This quaint little shop is oodles better than any modern, trendy restaurant. The decor has hardly changed in its 100 years of operation and I am so glad. They even continue to use an old push button cash register instead of a computerized one. George and Thelma are just the friendliest people on... More

I love how they have the original decor from the old malt shop days. Just a great place to take family and friends to get good ice cream...the workers are very friendly to talk to.... if you are anywhere around Wilton I would definitely stop by here.
